J. Mark Williams
J. Mark joined Banterra as Executive Vice President in 2016, bringing more than 35 years of insurance experience to the team. Williams began his insurance career in 1980 with Country Companies Insurance in McLeansboro. He became an independent agent in 1989 and was based in Marion. He later took the position of Agency Director for Metlife Financial in Marion in 2001. Williams then served at Pekin Insurance, first as Field Manager for Southern Illinois and most recently as National Life Marketing Manager for ten states, for 11 years, prior to joining Banterra. His leadership is a huge asset to Banterra Insurance & Investments, and he is passionate about bringing customers a complete Banterra branding experience in regards to financial and risk management planning.

Jody Morrison
Jody has been part of the Banterra Insurance Team since 2008. He enjoys working with his customers regardless of the insurance need – whether it is a business owner trying to protect the large business he/she has worked so hard to create or a person buying their first home. Jody handles many insurance products and his top priority is to provide his customers assurance that they are covered properly. He graduated from Oakland City University, where he met his wife Erin. They live in Carmi, Illinois and have a son and daughter.

Rick joined Banterra Insurance in 2022. Rick has more than 30 years of insurance experience. He is all lines insurance agent. He has recently worked with AFLAC, Diedrich Healthcare, and State Farm. He is a graduated of Eastern Illinois University. He and his wife Jolene have two adult sons. He and his wife reside in Marion, IL.

Kendra joined Banterra in 1998 and has more than 35 years of insurance experience. Always interested in finding the best policy for our customers’ personal needs, Kendra focuses on Banterra Insurance’s personal product lines including vehicle, home and life. A graduate of Southeastern Illinois College and a Southern Illinois native, Kendra and her husband Steve live in the Ridgway, Illinois area and have two boys.

Chris Haynes joined Banterra in 2002 with 20 years of experience in financial services. Chris focuses on insurance needs of our customers. Chris is a graduate of Southern Illinois University and was born and raised in Southern Illinois where he resides today.
